I had my second jab recently, and aside from a few flu like symptoms, I’m feeling great.
I feel happy to be playing my part in keeping the community safe. 🧡
PS I have needle phobia, and my blood pressure dropped super low, so I got a lollypop! #howembarrassing! 🍭😂 #barwonhealth

~~Sun tea~~🌞

This beautiful recipe is a sure fire way to bring some warmth to these chilly winter days.🌞

This is actually a “summer” tea, as the infusion takes on the energy of the sun’s warming rays.🌞

But, being a herbalist is all about being creative too, so why not make this on a sunny winter’s day?!🧙‍♀️🦉

You can source the herbs in dried form from your local health food store.
My favourite supplier is @southernlightherbs 🌿
You can replace the red clover with fresh calendula….or any other sun loving herb. 🌼

Recipe:❤️
1 cup red clover blossoms
1 cup red raspberry leaf
1/2 cup hibiscus flowers
1/2 cup dried orange peel

Method:🌞
Mix the herbs and store in an airtight container
To make the tea, add 1/2 to 1 cup of the blend to a 1 litre jar.
Pour filtered water over the herbs and let it sit in the sun all day.
Strain and enjoy.
The tea lasts 3 days in the fridge.
